Website Special Announcements - DO NOT MOVE ME!

On February 25 & 26 the Garden will close at 12 p.m. Please plan accordingly.

All that is necessary is an enthusiasm for the desert.

Volunteers at the Desert Botanical Garden are an integral part of our Garden team. Volunteers work with staff in all aspects of the Garden mission: education, research, exhibition and conservation of desert plants. The skills, talents and dedication of our volunteers have made the Desert Botanical Garden one of the premier botanical gardens in the world. We recognize the great value of our volunteers and are committed to making volunteering at the Garden enjoyable, productive and rewarding.

Current Volunteer Needs

Docents - share desert knowledge with visitors and transform the visitor experience into one of discovery and meaning. Docents provide themed, guided tours and staff Discovery Stations in the Garden.
