Designing sustainable desert landscapes requires knowledge and aptitude in diverse areas such as soil sciences, hydrology, horticulture and sustainable practices in landscape management and installation. In this 20-hour program, students learn crucial concepts to design landscapes that are resilient, long-lasting and that use resources wisely. Students will learn about:

- Water management
- Sustainable practices
There are no pre-requisites for this program. This is an assessment-based certificate program. Achievement of the certificate is dependent on meeting or exceeding the attendance and assessment requirements for the program.
