ArtPlace America recently announced that the Desert Botanical Garden’s Spaces of Opportunity is one of 29 projects chosen, from almost 1400 applications, to receive funding through its National Creative Placemaking Fund in 2016.

The Desert Botanical Garden is pleased to announce it is breaking ground on a new, expanded butterfly exhibit on November 16, 2016. Opening in March 2017, the new Butterfly Pavilion will be located on the Harriet K. Maxwell Desert Wildflower Loop Trail and will feature hundreds of live butterflies, as well as a caterpillar nursery and emergence chamber.
