Learn how to make medicinal salves and other herbal preparations to improve your families' health. Students will transform the local creosote bush into an herbal salve, which they will take home. Also, you will learn how to make several different healthful herbal preparations, including an infusion, decoction and tincture (a concentrated herbal extract). Learn where to get necessary supplies to make your own herbal remedies at home.
