Description
Gardening in the low desert can be challenging. The Sonoran Desert has unique soils, temperature extremes, two seasons of rain and many other influences that impact plants in the landscape. We will discuss the basic characteristics of desert soils, sun exposure, frost damage and pest problems. This introductory class will explain how to work with these influences to be a successful desert gardener.
