Description

Vegetable gardeners love to harvest sweet, fresh asparagus, tender baby artichokes, and other perennial vegetables. Perennials can usually live several years, and learning their seasonal needs offers gardeners the option of integrating them into the larger garden. They can be planted in the vegetable patch of short-season favorites while enhancing our landscapes and allowing us the seasonal pleasures of these delicious vegetables. Learn the secrets of maintaining perennial vegetables in your garden and making the most of the seasonal harvest.
