There are over 30,000 named species of fishes—more than all other vertebrates combined. For every named species, there may be as many as 20 species that have no name or have not yet been discovered. Even Arizona, hardly a place associated with finny creatures, is home to more than 100 kinds of fish. Fish is de-lish, and so are the eggs of many species, known as roe or caviar. Fish is also a very healthy food, with high protein and less fat compared to meat. Join us and learn how to select fresh fish and serve yummy fish-based dishes from around the world.
