Low-desert gardeners face special challenges when it comes to caring for their landscapes. In this introductory class, participants will gain the basic skills and information needed to make choices on how to properly care for their garden while minimizing the impact to the environment. This class will cover the best practices and techniques for planting, efficient watering, proper pruning, fertilizing and other general maintenance to create a successful low-water use garden.
