Description
Learn about the best cacti and succulents to grow in metropolitan Phoenix. Cacti and succulents may seem ideally adapted to a desert environment, but many plants, especially those introduced from other regions, need special care to survive the harsh growing conditions of the Sonoran Desert. Class will be conducted as a plant walk with instruction on identifying recommended cacti and succulents, how to use them in your garden, and how to grow them. This class is one of a five-part series conducted throughout the year. Other classes in the series will cover trees, shrubs, ground covers and vines, and grasses and herbaceous plants.
