WHAT:

The Desert Botanical Garden presents its annual Music in the Garden Fall Concert Series 2011. Visitors can enjoy an array of musical styles including Flaminco, Jazz, Latin and World Music.  This year, in celebration of David Roger’s Big Bugs, the Garden is presenting Get Back: A Musical Tribute to the Beatles.  As part of the Dia de los Muertos Celebration, the Garden is pleased to announce a special concert by Sergio Mendoza*.  All concerts are held outdoors on the Garden’s beautiful Ullman Terrace.  Fabulous Food serves dinner for an additional charge.  There is a cash bar available and also wine tastings and sales with the opportunity to buy wine by the bottle. Music in the Garden is sponsored in part by Pour Masters.

October 7 – Sonoran Jazz Project – Jazz/Motown
October 14 – Domingo DeGrazia – Flamenco/Acoustic Guitar
October 21 – The Silver Thread Trio featuring the Rosano Brothers – Americana/Gypsy Jazz    
October 28 – Sergio Mendoza y la Orkesta – Latin/Mambo - special engagement with special pricing
November 4 – Get Back: A Musical Tribute to the Beatles
November 11 – Fuerza Caribe – Latin/Bachata
November 18 – Traveler – World Music/Dynamic Violin

COST: Members: $15 / General Public: $21
        *Sergio Mendoza special engagement:

Guests must be 21 and older to attend concerts.
Ticket price includes Garden admission.
