Volunteers in the Garden is hosting the 3rd Annual Golfin’ in the Desert golf tournament to help raise scholarship funds for Title 1 schools.
Golfin’ in the Desert will be held at ASU Karsten Golf Course on May 8, 2010, with a shotgun scramble starting at 7:30 a.m. Space is limited to 100 players. Registration by April 8 is $100 and includes greens and cart fees, a delicious lunch, two raffle tickets, range balls, awards program, and a goody bag full of cool stuff! After April 8, registration is $125.
All proceeds will go directly into a scholarship fund through the Desert Botanical Garden’s Tending the Garden Campaign, allowing Title 1 school students and their teachers to attend the Garden’s Sonoran Desert Adventure Field Trip Program. These field trips get kids excited about nature and the stewardship of our beautiful desert.
ASU Karsten Golf Course is set in the shadows of ASU’s Sun Devil Stadium, at 1125 E. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, AZ 85281.
