The Desert Botanical Garden’s Volunteers in the Garden is hosting the 2nd Annual Golfin’ in the Desert Golf Tournament to help raise scholarship funds for Title 1 schools.
Golfin’ in the Desert will be held at ASU Karsten Golf Course on May 30, 2009 with a shotgun scramble starting at 7:30 a.m. Space is limited to 100 players. Registration before May 1 is $100 and includes green fees, cart, range balls, two raffle tickets, gourmet lunch and goody bag full of cool stuff! After May 1, registration is $125.

All proceeds will go directly into a scholarship fund, established through the Desert Botanical Garden’s Tending the Garden Campaign, that allows Title 1 schools and their teachers to attend the Garden’s Sonoran Desert Adventure Field Trip Program. These field trips introduce children to our beautiful desert and plant the seeds of future stewardship of this fragile ecosystem.
ASU Karsten Golf Course is set in the shadows of ASU’s Sun Devil Stadium at 1125 E. Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe.
