Garden Venues

Dorrance Center

Includes Boppart Courtyard, Dorrance Hall and Kitchell Patio

  • Indoor capacity: 100-300 seated; 400 auditorium; 500 standing
  • Availability: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $3,500 (5 hours included in rental fee)
  • Additional Hour Fee: $700
 

Boppart Courtyard
This venue is a large outdoor courtyard on the south side of Dorrance Hall. Overlooking the Cactus & Succulent Galleries, it is adorned with a tranquil water feature and has a built-in stage. It is ideal for a cocktail hour, outdoor dining or reception. For wedding ceremonies, you will say “I Do” with the Garden’s Cactus & Succulent Galleries as your backdrop.

Dorrance Hall
Adjacent to Boppart Courtyard and Kitchell Patio, this elegant 4,600-square-foot reception hall is perfect for a banquet, wedding reception, memorial service, or meeting. This hall has sophisticated lighting, beautiful tapestries, and the perfect floor for dancing. With AV capabilities and classrooms nearby to easily accommodate dressing rooms or breakout sessions, this modern venue is the natural choice for your wedding or event.

Kitchell Patio
Situated on the north side of Dorrance Hall, this patio is ideal for after-dinner drinks and dessert. Kitchell Patio includes serene water features and a built-in bench for additional seating and acts as a lovely outdoor extension to your indoor event.

Webster Center

Includes Ullman Terrace, Eliot Patio, Pritzlaff Patio, Webster Auditorium and Whiteman Conference Room.

  • Capacity: 25 – 150 guests, seated. (Additional guests can be accommodated in this space if Dorrance Center is also rented for rain back-up.)
  • Availability: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $3,000 (5 hours included in rental fee)
  • Additional Hour Fee: $600
Ullman Terrace
Featuring the Garden butte as a stunning backdrop for your event, this spacious outdoor tiered patio is surrounded by soft petal reflective lights and up-lit saguaros. This enchanting venue also features areas for dancing and a stage for entertainment. For weddings, you will exchange your vows amidst the beauty of the desert sunset, and your guests will dine, drink and dance the night away under the stars.
Eliot Patio
Serving as the entrance to Ullman Terrace, this patio features Portofino lights and up-lit plants and cacti, for an ideal Southwestern cocktail hour. During weddings, guests can enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres on Eliot Patio, while Ullman Terrace is transformed from your ceremony to reception.
Pritzlaff Patio
Adjacent to Eliot Patio, Pritzlaff is an additional gated outdoor patio for your guests to enjoy. The intimate built-in seating provides a peaceful spot for your guests to take in the beautiful scenery of the Garden.
Whiteman Conference Room
For evening events, utilize this traditional conference room for your dressing room, musician green room, or an additional space for your guests to enjoy if they’d like to step indoor.
Webster Auditorium
This 1,500-square-foot adobe building with French doors and antique chandeliers is on the National Register of Historic Places. For evening events, Webster serves as an ideal indoor rain back-up for your outdoor evening event on Ullman Terrace. This auditorium also serves as a spacious bridal suite during weddings.

Binns Wildflower Pavilion

  • Capacity: 25-100 guests, seated
  • Availability: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $1,700 (5 hours included in rental fee)
  • Additional Hour Fee: $340
This open-air pavilion is the perfect Southwestern location for a daytime or evening event. Host a luncheon, dinner, ceremony or wedding reception, memorial service, shower or birthday party. Gather with friends, family and co-workers under the intimate high-ceiling pavilion with decorative, illuminated rustic stars and twinkle-lit pillars. Dine under the stars, seen through the center sky light and enjoy scenic views of the Papago Buttes from this charming venue.

Amphitheater

  • Capacity: 25-100 guests, seated
  • Availability: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $800 (2 hours included in rental fee)
 
Available as a ceremony site only, this tiered theater features built-in benches for guest seating. This venue overlooks the Garden’s Cactus & Succulent Galleries, adding a uniquely modern element to your ceremony. With its effortless beauty, the Amphitheater is the natural choice for your wedding day. We recommend pairing the Amphitheater with the Wildflower Pavilion for your reception venue.
   

Pratt Ramada

  • Capacity: 2-20 guests, standing
  • Availability: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $600 (2 hours included in rental fee)
Available as a ceremony site only, this hillside ramada is situated at the highest point in the Garden and provides panoramic sunset views. Ideal for an intimate standing ceremony, this venue features the beautiful Sonoran Desert backdrop for your special day.

Steele Herb Garden

(Under re-design through fall 2011)

  • Capacity: 25-75 guests, seated
  • Availability: 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $2,000 (5 hours included in rental fee)
  • Additional Hour Fee: $400
Made up of seven themed gardens, this is the ideal location for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. This charming location is nestled amongst the Garden’s desert landscaping and features beautiful views of the Arizona sunset behind Camelback Mountain. The refreshing scents of sage and lavender create a serene place for people to relax and take in the uniqueness of the Garden while celebrating your special occasion.

Webster Auditorium

Included in rental of Webster Center for evening events. Rents separately for daytime events.

  • Capacity: 25-100 guests, seated
  • Daytime Availability: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Daytime Rental Fee: $500 (up to 4 hours) | $1,000 (4-8 hours)
This 1,500-square-foot adobe building with French doors and antique chandeliers is on the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy this historic setting for daytime meetings and retreats. This auditorium is adjacent to Eliot Patio and your guests will be able to enjoy this location for outdoor breakout sessions or lunch, providing a truly unique experience for corporate and non-profit functions.

  • Daytime Rental Fee: $400 (up to 4 hours) | $800 (4-8 hours)
Located in Webster Center, our premier board room is ideal for meetings, retreats and team-building activities. French doors open onto Eliot Patio for outdoor breakout sessions or lunch, providing a truly one of a kind experience for corporate and non-profit functions.

Farrington Conference Room, Archer House and Weisz Learning Center Classrooms

  • Capacity: 5-30 guests, seated
  • Daytime Availability: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $400 (up to 4 hours) | $800 (4-8 hours)


These indoor rooms offer additional meeting space for your next business event. Farrington and Weisz are both located close to Dorrance Hall and Archer is located close to Webster Center; all serve as excellent breakout rooms for conferences.
