A Natural Choice for Your Special Event
Centrally located in the heart of breathtaking Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Garden is a naturally beautiful setting for your special event. The Garden is one of Arizona’s most inspiring venues and is located on the border of Scottsdale, Tempe, and Phoenix. Choose from open air pavilions, outdoor terraces, conference rooms, historic banquet halls, and scenic courtyards. Venues are available for both daytime and evening events held year round between the hours of 7am and 11pm.

Social Events
The spectacular surroundings of Desert Botanical Garden are the perfect complement to social events. The Garden would be honored to host your next bridal shower, birthday party, rehearsal dinner, baby shower, bar/bat mitzvah, quinceanera, family reunion, anniversary party, retirement party, celebration of life, or memorial service.

Picture your next business meeting or conference in our distinctive conference rooms, auditorium or halls. Corporate groups of 5-500 will enjoy team-building activities, breakout sessions and dining set amid our exotic collection of desert flora.

Site Visits
The Garden offers complimentary admission for self-guided tours of our venues during general admission hours. We invite you to stop by to preview our event space. You may also contact us in advance to schedule a private site visit. We recommend that you check for date availability prior to your visit.

Book Your Event
We recommend planning in advance as dates fill up quickly. If you have selected an available date and venue, please let us know, and we are happy to hold the venue for 7 days, after which time we request that you move to contract. We request a 50% deposit of the rental fee at the time of contract, with the balance due at least two weeks prior to the event.
Please note that for events with a bar we require a refundable $500 security deposit (for damages) and proof of public liability insurance coverage with the Garden listed as additional insured at least two weeks prior to the event.

Planning your Event
We offer on-site coordination and are happy to offer advice to help accommodate any budget and vision. You will create your own customized menu working with our required list of caterers. Aside from the required list of caterers and the Garden’s beverage service, you are welcome to use any vendor you would like (i.e. musician, photographer, florist, etc. of your choice). The Garden does not have any food or beverage minimums. Tables, chairs and/or linens are not provided by the Garden, they must be rented from an outside vendor. We recommend you coordinate these through your caterer.
