Learning Labs
This science enrichment program is designed to help your child explore and understand the wonders of our Sonoran Desert. Each session we explore a new theme and the Winter session will look at plants that have succulent or semi-succulent leaves.
Each day students will:
- enjoy an exploration hike,
- use crafts, journaling, literature and fun activities to understand insects and spiders,
- employ a variety of scientific tools and processes to explore the desert, and
- healthful snack.
All elements of the course are designed to help children understand the desert world we live in!
Class Fees
- Members: $56 per four-week session OR $16 per class
- General Public: $70 per four-week session OR $20 per class

Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Refunds are available for cancellations made more than 2 weeks prior to class start date, less a $10 fee per class session (or $2.50 per class).
- No refunds are available for cancellations made fewer than 2 weeks prior to class start date.
- No refunds or credits will be given after the start date of the program.
- A full refund will be made in the event the Desert Botanical Garden cancels a program.
- Refunds cannot be issued for missed class sessions.
