Welcome to the Desert Botanical Garden’s Digital Learning! Digital Learning is designed for K-8 teachers, students and their families throughout Arizona. This interdisciplinary curriculum is aligned with Arizona Academic Standards with specific emphasis in the life sciences.

This curriculum was designed to provide students and teachers the opportunity and resources for conducting plant-based investigations and encourage outdoor exploration using science and technology.

The Garden’s Digital Learning offers two units, Inquiry in the Garden and Digital Desert, that have been customized for grade levels K through 8th.

Topia-composite-275x175
Topia at the Garden through June 2

Topia, an original ballet created by Artistic Director Ib Andersen, fuses nature and dance. Again this year, the ballet will be performed in an outdoor desert venue on an 80-foot panoramic stage. Andersen’s brilliant choreography is set to the music of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6. In 2012 Ballet Arizona performed Topia to sell-out crowds at the Garden.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale at the Ballet Arizona box office, 602 381.1096 or ticketmaster.com. Garden members will receive 10% off their tickets when using promo code: VIPTopia.
