The Lower Salt / Verde Rivers contain one of the rarest ecosystems in North America, a riparian habitat in a desert environment. This early morning excursion unfolds against the beauty of a desert sunrise. This relaxing trip will provide the opportunity to view wildlife attracted to this oasis with a backdrop of rugged desert landscape. Learn about the cultural and natural history of this rare riparian ecosystem. Price includes continental breakfast, professional guides, river raft and safety gear. The Salt or Verde River will be chosen based on optimum water flow at the time of the trip. Participants will be notified of the meeting point several days prior to the trip.
