Planting for the Future
We are pleased to report that 2009 was a banner year for the Desert Botanical Garden, marking our 70th anniversary with much excitement and success. The highlight of the year was Chihuly: The Nature of Glass exhibition.
During this time the Garden also applied for re-accreditation by the American Association of Museums, launched the Digital Curriculum initiative – providing a highly interactive and engaging environmental education program available to teachers and students – and opened the Berlin Agave Yucca Forest and Allan Houser: Tradition to Abstraction exhibition.
